Requirements

All Core Volunteers agree to:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Complete required volunteer training.
- Commit to volunteering 2 to 4 times per month, depending on position.
- Support and promote Habitat’s mission in our community.
Administrative and Office
On-Call Front Desk Volunteer
Support our Workplace Coordinator by volunteering at the front desk at Habitat Metro Denver’s main office. Answer phone calls, greet visitors, sort mail, and help with other office duties. This position is on an on-call basis, we are looking for someone that has a flexible schedule that could volunteer with little notice.

Construction
Core Construction Volunteer
Work alongside Habitat future homeowners, volunteers, and staff to create change that can be seen for generations to come. No construction experience is necessary. Positions are available in four areas: New Construction, Home Repair, Renovations, and Production Shops. Volunteers must commit to about two days a month.

ReStore
Core ReStore Volunteer
Work alongside Habitat future homeowners, volunteers, and staff at one of the four Habitat Denver ReStores. Volunteers are trained in a specific area to provide support across ReStore operations and help increase funding for Habitat Denver. Help customers who rely heavily on the ReStores' discounted items to maintain their homes. Volunteers commit to a weekly shift, or about 15 hours a month.
Merchandising Assistant - Littleton ReStore
Do you have an eye for color and furniture arrangements? Are you a closet interior designer who likes to help friends and family beautify their homes? The ReStore merchandising assistant position may be a great fit for you! Exercise your creative eye and make our ReStores stand out to customers.

Dock Assistant -Arvada ReStore
Help customers who rely heavily on the ReStores' discounted items to maintain their homes! This position screens and unloads donations, cleans and prices donations before they are placed on the floor. You must be able to lift 25-50 pounds, and have customer service skills.

Customer Service and Loss Prevention Volunteer - Arvada ReStore
Do you want to make an impact on your community, and enjoy enaging with people? This position assists staff by greeting, directing, and thanking customers in the ReStores, to ensures customers have a positive experience.

Paint Processing Volunteer - all locations
This position will help our ReStores evaluate whether donated paint is fit to be resold to the public and will process paint for sales. This position will start at 2-6 hours per week, or on an as-needed basis. Position can serve all four ReStore locations or serve in the closest location. The Donated Paint Processor will help the ReStore create more revenue as we start taking in paint donations, so that Habitat Metro Denver can create more affordable housing opportunities.

Metals Recycling Volunteer - all locations
Do you like taking things apart? Join our Metals Recyling Team! Volunteers take appliances that don't work and seperate the metals, to be recycled. Volunteers commit to a weekly shift, or about 15 hours a month.

Skilled Volunteers Needed for On-Call Work - all locations
Are you a licensed electrician, plumber, work in HVAC, or carpentry, and looking to volunteer but can’t commit to a regular schedule? Join our list of on-call volunteers that help with special projects in our ReStore locations! We will call you when we have a special project in a ReStore that needs a skilled volunteer. Scheduling and time commitment is flexible!
