Administrative and Office

Maintenance and Facilities Volunteer
Become a "volunteer of all trades" and help our office stay up and running by completing routine maintenance projects. If you enjoy volunteering indoors, can work independently, and want to play a key role in Habitat's operations, we want to hear from you! The time commitment is two to three hours once a week with additional hours as needed.

Front Desk Volunteer
Help keep our desk area running smoothly and be the first point of contact for partner families, volunteers, and visitors at our office! This is a critical position for the functioning of our main office. Responsibilities include answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and performing a variety of administrative duties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a role during business hours in a comfortable setting with free coffee!

Construction

Construction Volunteer
By working alongside current and future Habitat homeowners, other volunteers, and Habitat staff, your efforts will create change that can be seen for generations to come. No construction experience is necessary. Simply show up ready to learn and our staff will guide you from there. Positions are available in our New Construction, Home Repair, Production Shop, and Aging in Place programs.

ReStore

Call Center Assistant
Our ReStore Call Center receives a high volume of donation inquiries and you can help improve our response time! The Call Center Assistant answers the phone, schedules donation pickups, and makes reminder calls to donors. If you are comfortable on the phone, enjoy customer service, and prefer working off your feet, this could be the perfect position for you.

Cashier
Are you computer savvy? Are numbers and people your friends? If you answered yes, then you might be a great Cashier at one of our ReStores. Help check out customers, operate our point of sale system, and answer phone calls. Good customer service skills are a must.

Customer Service and Loss Prevention Volunteer
Do you love talking to people? We are looking for smiling faces to welcome our ReStore customers. Volunteers greet and direct customers, ensure the entryway and checkout area is clear, and help improve customer flow and service. This is a great role for someone who enjoys interacting with and assisting others

Dock Assistant
Would you rather volunteer for a good cause instead of going to the gym? Become a ReStore dock assistant and exercise your body and your desire to be of service. Dock assistants unload donations, help staff price items, and move them to the sales floor.

Merchandising Assistant
Do you have an eye for color and furniture arrangements? Are you a closet interior designer who likes to help friends and family beautify their homes? The ReStore merchandising assistant position may be a great fit for you! Exercise your creative eye and make our ReStores stand out to customers.

Volunteer Program Assistant
Support our vibrant ReStore program and help other volunteers learn. A volunteer program assistant welcomes, orients, and trains individual and group volunteers. You get the unique opportunity to provide that one-on-one attention to volunteers that keeps them engaged and coming back. If you want to use or enhance your leadership and public speaking skills, this is the role for you!

ReStore Photographer Volunteer
We have expanded and started selling some of our items online! Our photographer volunteer will take high-quality photos of items, move and arrange items in an appealing manner, work with our online support Core Volunteer to post items on our e-commerce website. Having online sales will help Habitat reach more customers, and increase revenue to support our mission of building homes, communities, and hope.
