Join our summer internship program at the Habitat ReStores
Do you enjoy meeting new people? Do you have service hours to complete for graduation? Do you want to make a meaningful impact on your community? Then why not become a summer intern with the Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver ReStores? The ReStores are home improvement thrift outlets where all profits support Habitat Denver’s mission to provide affordable housing in our community.
The Habitat Denver Summer Internship Program is an opportunity for high school students to gain valuable skills, learn about affordable housing issues, and make a difference by serving in a Habitat Denver ReStore one shift a week over the course of the summer.
Applicants must:
*Interns must serve at least seven shifts for program completion.
Join an information session held via Zoom. This will give interested individuals a chance to ask questions about the program and Habitat. (Click the date you would like to sign up)
Email Lauren Kirwin (lkirwin@habitatmetrodenver.org) with any questions.
You will:
“The internship offers real world experience because you learn how to work in a store and how to handle people.”
– ReStore intern Claire.
“I would recommend this internship to others because it helps build a foundation for your future. I’ve never worked a job before, and the internship helped me work with people better. I learned to work with a team to build furniture.”
– ReStore intern Keren.
“One customer told me that he is grateful for our generation for helping out around the community.” “It was a great feeling.”
– ReStore intern Nadhi.
