Since 2012 Transamerica has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to fulfill its mission in the community- to help families have the opportunity to live well and achieve a lifetime of financial security. Hundreds of Transamerica employees commit countless volunteer hours each year to support their local Habitat for Humanity affiliates, from Georgia to California.

Last winter, Transamerica’s Denver employees committed approximately 1,300 volunteer hours to build a home for a local family in Denver’s southwest College View neighborhood. The experience was so enriching that Transamerica decided to support another family in 2018 at Habitat’s newest development in Sheridan Square.

This summer, Transamerica employees will be back out on the construction site to build alongside Dismas and Beatrice to help build a home for their three boys. The family currently lives in an overcrowded apartment, where their three fast-growing sons all share a bedroom. They worry for the safety of their family since the crime rate around their apartment is high.

Dismas and Beatrice are excited to purchase a three-bedroom home with an affordable mortgage in partnership with Habitat. Their home will provide the family with the space, security, and stability they need to build a brighter future.

Thank you Transamerica for your partnership and commitment to help hardworking families find strength, stability, and self-reliance.
