Swansea Homes is a 32-home Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver community in Denver's Elyria Swansea neighborhood. Construction started in spring 2019, and the community's first residents began moving in one year later.

By the Numbers

  • 3- and 4-bedroom duplexes
  • 2-story homes with multiple exterior styles
  • 1.2 miles from the 40th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard Light Rail Station
  • 144 adults and children will ultimately call this community home
  • 15,000+ volunteers helped build these homes
  • At least 5 area schools, including Swansea Elementary; Bruce Randolph; University Prep; International Academy of Denver; and DSST: Cole

How to Apply


  1. Review Habitat Metro Denver's Program Qualifications to see if you're ready to become a Habitat homeowner. To learn more about our qualifications and the homeownership process, you can attend a Homeownership Information Session.

  2. Complete our forthcoming Homeownership Eligibility Questionnaire Form. Based on your responses, you may be provided a link to complete an application.
  3. Selection is based on need for housing, willingness to partner, and ability to pay.
