Meet Our Merchandising Core Volunteer Team!

“Volunteering can bring you satisfaction and a chance to learn new skills. I highly recommend it!”

Brianna, Annie, and Linda are a talented trio of merchandising volunteers that utilize their interior design skills at our ReStores each week. They create intriguing vignettes to showcase different furniture pieces and work with customers to help them visualize how different pieces can work in their homes.

Annie has been volunteering on the merchandising team since February of 2019. “In merchandising we work as a team to put together furniture and show customers what might be done with some of the very interesting and often colorful donations received by the Restore.” Annie continues, “It is my sincere desire is to help families that need a helping hand to get settled in a home of their own.”

With her background as a professional interior designer, Brianna enjoys creating beautiful new layouts for the Littleton ReStore, “I love the mission behind Habitat for Humanity and thought my interior design background could be of use at the ReStores.” Brianna continues, “I enjoy the people; everyone I have worked with has been a joy, and the fun of re-arranging and making an impact on the way the store looks in a short period of time.”

Linda joined the merchandising team in November of 2018. She was looking for a way to give back to the community and found that the Habitat ReStores fit with her job skills perfectly. “I love coming to volunteer at Habitat, the people who work there are great and I have enjoyed helping the customers who come in to shop. I feel that I’m helping make a difference,” shares Linda.

“If you are considering volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, come on by and talk with us. There are many different types of jobs and activities which you might find interesting and fun,” shares Annie.
