Corporate Donation Spotlight: Thank You Carpet Exchange!

Thank you to our long-time ReStore flooring donor – Carpet Exchange!
Habitat’s ReStores rely on donations of new and used materials that are then sold to the public, and all proceeds help support Habitat’s local homeownership programs. We greatly value our partnerships with local companies like Carpet Exchange. Through their generous donations of flooring and surplus materials, we’re able to generate critical funding to support Habitat for Humanity.

With Denver’s housing costs reaching record-high levels, more affordable housing is needed now more than ever. We’re so appreciative of our material donors like Carpet Exchange who are helping us address this growing need by supporting Habitat’s mission of building homes, communities and hope.

We asked Carpet Exchange why they donate to the Habitat for Humanity Denver ReStores:
‘When we first heard about Habitat, we liked their vision of helping people and families in need of decent and affordable homes. Having a flooring store, we knew we could easily help Habitat’s efforts by donating product to the Habitat ReStores. It made perfect sense for us to begin a relationship with Habitat.

Since 2012 we’ve donated more than $215,000 in product to Habitat ReStores. Our employees enjoy sorting and preparing the products for Habitat, everyone pitches in to load the trucks on pick-up day. Habitat makes this easy by providing a truck to move the donation to their ReStores. We enjoy our relationship with Habitat and look forward to continuing our relationship in the coming years.’

Do you know of a business who may want to help Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver build and improve more homes for local families? Encourage them to reach out to us!
