We’re so excited to celebrate our 100th home repair milestone!

We’re so proud to have partnered with the residents of Globeville, Elyria and Swansea to build and preserve affordable housing since the launch of our Neighborhood Revitalization efforts in 2012.  Since this program first started, forty new Habitat homes have been built and 100 homes have been repaired in these neighborhoods!

Neighborhood Impact

The impact of the Home Repair program has been incredible. Over the past three years that Habitat has worked in Globeville, Elyria and Swansea, noticeable changes have taken place.

  • Exterior home features reported as "Needing major repair" decreased by 71%
  • 97% of Habitat partner families are satisfied with their neighborhood
  • Property values in Globeville have increased at a rate more than double that of the city of Denver

Statistics are from the 2016 Neighborhood Impact Study.

Partner Families

Resident homeowners who partner with Habitat are a big part of how our Home Repair Program is able to achieve such positive impacts.

Partner family Jose and Regina helped us celebrated our 100th Home Repair milestone this past month. Read more about their story.

Repairing 100 homes would not have been possible without our generous sponsors and community partners. We'd like to recognize the following supporters for their commitment to safe and affordable homeownership in Globeville, Elyria and Swansea.
