If you pre-qualify for a Habitat home loan (through the online application in Step 2), you will receive a pre-qualification letter that details a specific loan amount for which you are pre-qualified. This prequalification is good for 120 days.

Pre-qualified applicants will receive notification of available properties that are in range with the applicant's pre-qualified loan amount. Once a property of interest is identified, an applicant is required to submit financial documents for review.

At the end of each month, pre-qualified appliants will receive informtion on available properties for which they qualify. If a pre-qualified applicant would like to be considered for one or more of the properties, pre-qualified applicants will notify Habitat staff and will provided information on completing the next phase(s) of the process.

Based on final paperwork, qualified applicants who pass the financial review will be invited to a final interview. Applicants that have the strongest combination of our 3 selection criteria will be selected for the home.
