Habitat Young Professionals (HYP) & Youth

Habitat Young Professionals

Habitat Young Professionals (HYP) is about having fun and making personal and professional connections throughout Denver while helping to give hardworking, low-income families a chance to finally own a home.

HYP’s goal is to raise money to build additional homes with Habitat Metro Denver.  We do this by engaging with young professionals at social events and build day events throughout the year.  We hope you will join us to raise money to build homes and awareness for the need for affordable housing.

To learn more about events and how to get involved go to www.denverhyp.org.  To find out about build day opportunities, please email build@denverhyp.org

Youth United

Habitat Metro Denver’s Youth United program is now accepting applications for our 2016 – 2017 Youth United Steering Committee! The Youth United Steering Committee is comprised of 15 motivated high school students interested in learning more about affordable  housing issues while organizing Habitat volunteer opportunities, raising funds to sponsor a home, advocating for affordable housing initiatives, and engaging youth under age 16 in supporting Habitat's mission.

Steering committee members commit to a full year of stewardship: attending bi-monthly meetings, organizing initiatives and volunteering regularly on both the construction sites and at the ReStores.
