Individual Volunteer Opportunities
Whether you volunteer for one day or many, you will be helping Habitat serve low-income families who are either in need of an affordable home, or who own their homes but are unable to afford critical repairs. Volunteers of all skill levels and interests are welcome to join us.
Habitat is a volunteer-driven organization serving families and communities in the Metro Denver area. Working alongside our dedicated construction team, regular volunteers, and partner families, you will help us build and repair homes while having a great time learning construction skills.
Please review our list of Frequently Asked Questions which address subjects such as age requirements and what to expect on your volunteer day.
Regular Volunteer Program
Regular Volunteers gain the experience necessary to help further Habitat’s mission by supporting construction staff and teaching other volunteers. Through an ongoing commitment, individuals enhance their construction knowledge, meet new people, develop leadership skills and work alongside partner families.
A commitment of at least 24 days, annually, is required. To join, email Trisha, Volunteer Program Manager, firstname.lastname@example.org
Court-ordered community service hours cannot be completed on Habitat Metro Denver's construction sites. If you are interested in volunteering at one of our five Metro Denver ReStores to fulfill court-ordered community service hours, please click here to sign up.
School Required community service hours for youth ages 16 and older can be completed on the build sites or with the ReStores. Youth 14 years and older are welcome to participate at the warehouse. Group and individual opportunties are availble.
