Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver is proud to develop this 16 home community near Evans & Federal in southwest Denver. These 2, 3, and 4-bedroom single family homes will be built over the course of two years, and will ultimately provide more than 65 adults and children with stable and affordable housing.

Construction of the College View community will kick off in 2016 with the first seven homes.

Sheridan Square

Sheridan Square will be the largest development in Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver’s history. Located on a 4.35-acre former elementary school site in the City of Sheridan, Habitat’s plans include the construction of 63 energy-efficient homes built over the course of four years.

Sheridan Square will create permanent homes for approximately 130 adults and 225 children and revitalize the community of Sheridan.

Critical Home Repair

In the effort to revitalize communities, Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver is in the fourth year of its Critical Home Repair program, an initiative that helps low-income homeowners with home restoration so that they can continue to live in a safe and affordable home. Projects often include shingle installation, siding or paint work, porch repairs, and more.

Repairs take place in the Globeville and Elyria-Swansea neighborhoods. In 2016 Habitat will revitalize up to 40 homes.

“Each new home we help build may seem like a small step toward our overall goal, yet every home makes a huge difference to the family and community. Habitat’s work goes beyond just providing a home.” – Shelley Marquez, Senior VP, Community Development, Wells Fargo
