2020 Habitat on the Hill

In January 2020, five Habitat Metro Denver staff members attended the annual Habitat on the Hill legislative conference in Washington D.C. The 2020 conference focused on Habitat's role as a leader in protecting and improving home affordability through policy change at the local, state and federal levels.

Our local team had the opportunity to meet with lawmakers like Colorado Sens. Bennet and Gardner, who were encouraged to support favorable housing policies and programs, as well as specific budget requests that reinforce the continuation of Habitat’s work.
