Started in 2011, Miracle Workers is a faith-based coalition of seven Lutheran churches in the west Denver metro area. They partner with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver to build homes, raise funds, and raise awareness about the need for safe, decent, affordable housing in our community. Over the past eight years, Miracle Workers' efforts on both volunteering and financial contributions have helped sponsor eight homes.
In October 2019, Habitat Denver and Miracle Workers proudly handed the keys to the eighth home in their partnership to Rose, a single mom of two daughters.
The home, in Habitat Denver's Sheridan Square development, marks a meaningful, positive change for Rose, who's eager for her children to have a place they can truly call their own.
"I will have stability for my children [and be] more financially secure," wrote Rose, who said both achievements satisfy a lifelong goal. She also was thrilled to volunteer with Habitat—something all future-Habitat homeowners commit to before moving into their homes.
Thank you to the Miracle Workers for helping Rose and her daughters!

Consider making a donation to help us reach our goal of building homes. Each house is built with donated funds from congregations, individuals, and companies. Every little bit helps. Please take a moment to pray and consider how your gift can help Habitat change lives of families in need. Each donation is a true blessing in the eyes of the family who gets one step closer to their dream of homeownership and a better future for their children. All donations go directly to Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver and help Miracle Workers reach their sponsorhip goal. Be sure to add "Miracle Workers" in the comment section so your donation is applied correctly.
