Since 2012, Transamerica has partnered with Habitat for Humanity to fulfill its mission in the community- to help families have the opportunity to live well and achieve a lifetime of financial security. Hundreds of Transamerica employees commit countless volunteer hours each year to support their local Habitat for Humanity affiliates, from Georgia to California.

Transamerica has helped to sponsor three homes in metro Denver and the company’s employees have donated more than 2,000 volunteer hours.  Transamerica’s partnership also includes support of Habitat Metro Denver’s Board of Directors.  Marijn Smit, Head of Asset Management for Transamerica, is currently serving his first year on Habitat’s Board.

This summer, Transamerica employees will be back out on the construction site building a home in the Swansea Townhomes development.  Transamerica is dedicating every Thursday and Friday in August to volunteering on this project.  We would like to thank Transamerica for their partnership and commitment to help hardworking families find strength, stability, and self-reliance.

About Transamerica
Transamerica has stood for innovation since 1904, when a young entrepreneur named Amadeo P. Giannini founded a bank in San Francisco to make financial services available to everyone.  Today, Transamerica encourages our customers to consider their long-term health in pursuit of their financial success. Because just like with planning and saving, we believe the little steps we take today can make a big difference for tomorrow.
