All are Welcome!

Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver has an open-door policy: All who believe that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views or any of the other distinctions that too often divide people. In short, Habitat welcomes volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds and also serves people in need of decent housing regardless of race or religion. As a matter of policy, Habitat for Humanity International and its affiliated organizations do not proselytize. This means that Habitat will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must either adhere to or convert to a particular faith, or listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith.

A Proud ENERGY STAR Partner

Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver has been building high-quality, energy-efficient homes in partnership with hardworking families since 1979. We were the first nonprofit homebuilder in the country to build a home certified to meet the standards of ENERGY STAR v3, Indoor airPLUS, and WaterSense.

ENERGY STAR products such as refrigerators, front-loading washers, and CFL bulbs are included in all new Habitat Metro Denver homes. We also incorporate tankless water heaters, 92%-efficient furnaces, and low-flow toilets for additional utility savings.

E-Star reports show that a Habitat Metro Denver house saves 30% to 40% in heading and electric use when compared to a code-built home.

Habitat Metro Denver is proud to be recognized as an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for Sustained Excellence.
